Selling Role-Playing Direct To Consumers



Last year Social Animals decided to start selling niche role-playing courses directly to individual consumers via Amazon.com.

I spent my evenings and weekends during the last year recruiting a team of highly-experienced content experts. Together we created a series of specialized courses. We trademarked these under the "How Not To Talk" brand, since they openly explore the wrong answers as well as the right ones. Our patent-pending dialogue engine lets us offer these specialized courses at a low cost.

The topics in our "How Not To Talk" series include child abuse detection (for school teachers) as well as "How Not To Talk To An Advertising Client" (for ad agency account execs). Other role-playing courses explore difficult conversations faced by hospital nurses, youth with Asperger's Syndrome, and relatives of Alzheimers patients in nursing homes.
